Who We Are

Our Story

Building Healthier Communities Together

Community Wellness Works Giving Inc. is a nonprofit organization focused on increasing access to preventive health services and wellness education for underserved populations, with a strong emphasis on adults age 50+, caregivers, and individuals managing chronic conditions.

CWW Giving provides trusted, culturally responsive, and convenient mobile services that reduce barriers to care by meeting people where they are — at home and in community spaces.

Few organizations combine mobile phlebotomy with mindfulness and wellness education the way we do. Our holistic approach addresses both physical and mental health, creating lasting impact in the communities we serve.

Why We Exist

Community Wellness Works Giving exists because prevention should never be out of reach.

Our work began with Lauren, diagnosed in infancy with Type 1 diabetes and a rare kidney disorder (Bartter syndrome). Navigating complex medical systems as a caregiver revealed a hard truth: too many families lack access to early screenings, preventative education, and culturally responsive support. Chronic illness often escalates not from lack of will, but from lack of access.

In communities with disproportionately high rates of diabetes, heart disease, high cholesterol, and kidney failure, we are witnessing the downstream effects of delayed prevention. The growing number of dialysis centers is not coincidence, it is a call to act earlier.

CWW Giving Inc brings mobile preventative screenings, community-based phlebotomy services, and wellness education directly into underserved neighborhoods, senior living communities, and spaces where transportation, trust, or systemic barriers limit care. We prioritize older adults, caregivers, maternal moms, and individuals living with chronic illness, ensuring they know where their health stands before a crisis occurs.

Through youth-led healthy cooking workshops inspired by now teenaged Lauren’s resilience, we pair awareness with action. Education becomes practical. Prevention becomes accessible. Youth become leaders.

Our mission aligns with regional and national health equity initiatives focused on aging in place, caregiver support, and chronic disease prevention. We exist to reduce barriers, improve continuity of care, and create community-centered pathways to longer, healthier lives.
